The Story of Zimbabwe.
W’ere making a film.
Our mission is to showcase Zimbabwe’s wildlife, landscapes, people and culture through one powerful story, that will inspire global audiences to experience its beauty, while driving sustainable tourism, empowering local communities, and protecting the country’s natural heritage for future generations
OUR FILM
Zimbabwe in the Wild is a groundbreaking documentary film that will showcase the raw beauty, diverse wildlife, and resilient communities of Zimbabwe. The film promotes tourism, highlights urgent conservation efforts, and tells the inspiring stories of people — including children — who live alongside nature and depend on it for survival. At its core, Zimbabwe in the Wild is more than a film: it’s a platform to raise awareness, celebrate the country’s heritage, and support sustainable development. With your support, we can bring this story to life and share Zimbabwe’s untold treasures with the world.
Widlife Conservation in Zimbabwe
Wildlife conservation is a core pillar of the project because Zimbabwe is home to some of Africa’s most iconic species—elephants, lions, rhinos, wild dogs, and countless bird species—that face increasing threats from poaching, habitat loss, and climate change. Zimbabwe in the Wild uses film to raise awareness of these challenges while celebrating the resilience and beauty of the country’s ecosystems.
By highlighting conservation efforts—from anti-poaching units and community-based programs to the protection of national parks—the project shows how safeguarding wildlife is not only about saving animals but also about preserving ecosystems, supporting tourism, and sustaining local communities. The storytelling aims to inspire global and local audiences to see wildlife as a shared heritage worth protecting, and to encourage partnerships, funding, and responsible practices that ensure these species thrive for generations to come.
Support for Communities
Supporting local communities is a key focus of Zimbabwe in the Wild, recognizing that people—especially children—living alongside wildlife are central to conservation efforts. The project highlights how tourism and conservation initiatives can provide education, skills, and sustainable livelihoods for families, creating opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive in harmony with nature.
Through real stories of rangers, guides, artisans, and families, the platform shows how community benefits—from schools and healthcare to income-generating projects—help reduce harmful practices like poaching while empowering the next generation. By including children in these narratives, Zimbabwe in the Wild emphasizes that protecting wildlife and ecosystems today ensures a safer, more prosperous future for both people and the planet.
With your support, we can bring this story to life and make it possible
